Sometimes businesses send a standardized message or a series of messages to subscribers and customers based on a trigger action (such as signing up for an email list). Autoresponders are tools that automate the sending of those messages. The business writes the standardized messages, uploads them to the system, and specifies the rules for sending the messages. Then, whenever the trigger action is taken, the autoresponder automatically sends the mailing or series of emails on a schedule. Typical uses include a welcome email whenever someone signs up for an email list, delivery of a free report or checklist used for lead generation, or a time-sequenced series of messages. (ie, one message sent immediately, another three days later, a third, a week after). Learn more about how to use autoresponders to nuture leads and grow your business.
